Paola Hohenadel, RECE, MEd
Paola Hohenadel has been actively working in the Early Learning Sector for over 25 years. Her experience ranges from working alongside children, educators, and families as a front line educator in child care, to a college faculty member, and since 2005, as a Quality Child Care Consultant in Guelph and Wellington County. It was within this role of offering pedagogical leadership to early childhood educators that led Paola to her graduate studies with Carol Ann Wien at York University, to deepen her understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy. After attending the 2015 Canadian Study tour of the schools in Reggio Emilia, Paola was committed to continue delving deeper into how this philosophy could support educators in our Ontario context. Paola is honoured to be a new board member of the Ontario Reggio Association working alongside inspirational leaders as passionate and as committed to bringing a deeper understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy to educators in Ontario and beyond. When Paola is not reading books or articles on the Reggio Emilia philosophy, you will find her at a table sharing an Italian homemade meal with her family and friends. Buon Appetito!
