Randa Khattar

Randa Khattar researches, teaches, and writes in early years Reggio inspired contexts. She is committed to views of children and adults as competent citizens with rights, on emergent, ecological and indigenous perspectives, and on competent systems of education that serve children, families, educators and the communities. For the past 15 years she has been studying the experiences of the Reggio Emilia educators at the doctoral level in the first instance and then as a professor of early childhood education with students and educators to cultivate and integrate Reggio-inspired principles and values in their practice. She is Ontario Director and national director of technology integration of the Canadian Association for Young Children (CAYC), an organization whose commitment to a strong image of children, educators and families closely aligns with the principles of the Ontario Reggio Association.
